Dr. Jie Lu is an Associate Professor and the leader of e-Service and Decision Making Research Group in the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She has over 140 publications in international journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. She has recently published an edited book “ E-Service Intelligence-methodology, Technologies and Applications ” by Springer. She has received three ARC discovery grants. She has served as a chair for a number of conferences and workshops, and a guest editor of special issues for a number of journals.

Shankar Sankaran teaches project management at the University of Technology Sydney . He comes to academia with more than thirty years of experience in management positions in Asia, the Middle East and Australia , and has managed large engineering and IT-based industrial projects. Shankar's research interests include project management, knowledge management, technology management, innovation, life coaching and management development using action learning. He is interested in the application of action research and systems thinking approaches to management, community and organisational research. He has published more than 50 papers in refereed journals, edited books and presented papers at international conferences in his areas of interest.

Dr. Nazrul Islam is a Professor at School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. His areas of expertise are Management of Technology, Technology and Development, Technology Policy and Technology Transfer. Some examples of his research projects, which are supported by various grants from SIDA, Asian Development Bank, Center for Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific, are: Analysis of Technical Options for Mitigating Environment Emissions from The Urban Transport Systems in Selected Asian Countries (this study is conducted in China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines), Study of Technology Transfer and Development in Developing Member Countries of the Asian Development Bank (this study is conducted in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia and Philippines), Impact of Technology Transfer Including That of Energy on that Rural Poor (this study is conducted in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia and Thailand), among many others.

Dr Chad Lin is a Research Fellow at Curtin University of Technology, Australia. Dr Lin has conducted extensive research in the areas of: e-commerce, e-health, health communication, health informatics, IS/IT investment evaluation and benefits realization, IS/IT outsourcing, IT adoption and diffusion, RFID, social marketing, strategic alliance in healthcare, and virtual teams. He has authored more than 30 internationally refereed journal papers (e.g. Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information and Management, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, and Medical Journal of Australia). He has also served as a member of editorial review board for several prestigious international journals.

Michelle has 19 years of work experience in managing, implementing and delivery of information in both private and public sectors. She has completed Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at Southern Cross University in 2005. Her thesis entitled “Action Research in Knowledge Management: Connecting Knowledge in an Australian Public Sector Organisation” investigates on connecting people to knowledge. Her other expertise includes ICT governance, systems development, technology management, strategic management and environmental risk management. She has presented in SCU Doctoral Symposium, ActKM, iKMS(Information & Knowledge Management Society (Singapore) and ALARPM (Action Learning, Action Research and Process Management Association Action Learning) and published in ActKM Journal and International Journal of Knowledge, Culture and Change in Organisations.

Dr Raja Peter is a Lecturer at Department of Enterprise Development, Massey University . His academic qualifications include PhD from Curtin University of Technology, Master of Marketing ( Distinction) from University of Western Australia , and Master of Management Studies(M.M.S.) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science , India . His research interests include diffusion of high tech products such as Solar Based technology, commercialization of renewable energy products, marketing high-technology products, consumer behavior and consumer acculturation of South Asians in Australia and New Zealand, International Marketing in developing countries.

Paul is a graduate of Southern Cross University's MBA and DBA programmes. His DBA research topic was the nexus between Strategic Management and Knowledge Management, focusing on the lifecycle of knowledge assets. Coming from an engineering background, Paul has spent over fifteen years designing, developing and implementing information systems supporting engineering operations in the electricity industry. Dr James is a practicing manager with a large Australian electricity utility, currently working as the Manager Corporate Strategy Development in the corporate strategy group. His work experience also includes business continuity planning, and project manager/director working with engineering information systems.

Professor Chong is the Adjunct Professor for Northeastern University , USA and Southern California University for professional studies for the Faculty of Business Administration and Management Engineering Technology. He is also the co-ordinator for arrangement for Malaysian leaders for Integral Leadership Centre - University of Western Australia and Australia Institute of Management in Perth for the Management Programs and Leadership development programs. His academic qualifications include two PhDs, DBA, MBA, Bachelor of Commerce from New Zealand , Australia and USA . Professor Dr Chong specializes in various areas of Industrial Engineering and Operation Management. He also has been providing consultancy services in the areas of Human Resource Management and Training, English Programs for Asian Countries, and Project Management.

Dr Lim See Yew is the Director of Info-Com Technology at the Institute of Technical Education College East , Singapore . Previously, as SVP, Business (International), he covers business consulting and information systems delivery for countries like China , Korea , Australia , Thailand , Taiwan and UK . Subsequently, he held the role as Chief Technology Officer of a listed company overseeing the technology product sales, growth and products development for three subsidiaries. Dr Lim has extensive experiences in Marine, Manufacturing, Construction, Printing, Electronics, and Logistics industries. Dr Lim key interest research areas are in Artificial intelligence, Strategic Information System Design, and Supply Chain management.

Jie Li received her Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from Hebei University of Technology, China, in 2002. She is currently an associate professor and the head of department of information management, school of management, Hebei university of technology, China . Her research interests include electronic commerce/ electronic business, data mining and knowledge discovery, operations management, and technology management.

Dr Lihua Zhao was awarded her PhD from UNSW, and is working as a research fellow in School of Marketing , UNSW. She has extensive research and industry experience in Data Mining and Decision Support Systems, her research interest covers a wide range of study fields but mostly focuses in two major streams: the concepts and technologies of (Geographical Information System) GIS, Data Mining and Information System, and applications of these technologies and geographical perspective to problems in management and decision support, particularly in retail planning and services resource allocation contexts.

Hong Chen is a PhD candidate at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University , the Netherlands . He received a MSc in computer science in 2003 from University of Twente , the Netherlands . He studied Telecommunications Engineering in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications from 1995 to1999 in China . His research interests include, but not limit to Mobile service/application personalization (3G and beyond), Service pricing (individual tariffs), Social aspects of mobile services, and M-business and M-commerce.

Dr Weibing Xuan has gained his degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and Doctor of Business Administration from Southern Cross University, Australia. He examined factors influencing electronic commerce success in Chinese retail market in his doctoral research project. Beside his academic knowledge and experience, Dr Xuan had various working experience in the area of administration and management in China . His research interests include information system, diffusion of IS/IT, Electronic business/Electronic commerce.

Ying Zhang is currently doing her doctor degree at Southern Cross University. She has received the Master of Professional Administration and Bachelor of Management and Professional Studies from Southern Cross University, and the other qualifications from Beijing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture in China . Ying Zhang has 2 years industry experience, as a manager in both individual and business sectors in Shanghai Pudong development Bank. Her research interests include human resource management, motivation and retention modeling and practices, job evaluation, talent evaluation, recruitment and selection modeling and practices.
